Wanderest

You open your eyes — and see only the forest.  

Familiar to the point of pain. Every tree, every winding path feels like a part of you. So why does the air tremble like a fever, and why do the branches whisper words you never spoke?  

You walk forward — only to end up right where you started. You meet them — those you once knew. They smile, they speak to you, but their eyes are empty. As if you’re staring into a shattered mirror that only remembers fragments of your face.  

You try to wake up.  

But with every step, the forest grows more real.  

Where do these paths lead? Why does the sky never change? And what lurks in the thicket where your shadow has never fallen?  

Perhaps you’ve already found your way home.  

You just don’t realize it yet.
